A versatile musician and writer, Monique diMattina has released eight critically acclaimed albums spanning folk/roots songs through New Orleans jazz to neo-classical solo piano works.
Over a thirty year career Monique has worked as performer/producer/musical director/arranger with Bjork, Lou Reed, Disney Theatrical, Rebecca Barnard, Harry Angus, Alma Zygier, Deborah Conway & Willie Zygier, Clare Bowditch, Vika Bull, Debra Byrne and many more. A recipient of Fulbright and Queens Trust awards, Monique has been short listed for the Australian Music Prize and her music is found on the VCE Music curriculum. STELLA: The Musical is Monique’s first music theatre work.

Julia Robertson is a multidisciplinary theatre maker, director and actor living and working on Gadigal land. She is the Artistic Director of the award-winning devising group Little Eggs Collective, a recipient of the Ensemble Theatre’s Sandra Bates Award for Directing, and a Young Artists Program finalist with Opera Australia. Julia was recently nominated for Best Direction of a Musical at the Sydney Theatre Awards for The Producers (Joshua Robson Productions / Hayes Theatre Co. / Riverside Parramatta).
In 2026, Julia will direct the premiere production of STELLA, The Musical in Melbourne, as well as The Addams Family for Joshua Robson Productions and Hayes Theatre Co. She will also work as Movement Director on 84 Charing Cross Road, and as Assistant Director on Suzie Miller’s new work Strong Is the New Pretty for Sydney Theatre Company, Queensland Theatre and Brisbane Festival.
Julia previously directed and wrote the book and lyrics for the musical adaptation of Metropolis (music by Zara Stanton), which premiered at Hayes Theatre Co. in 2023, winning three Sydney Theatre Awards and receiving a TIME OUT Sydney nomination for Best Musical. Other directing credits include The Producers (Joshua Robson Productions / Hayes Theatre Co. / Riverside Parramatta) which has been nominated for five Sydney Theatre Awards and was included in Sydney Morning Herald’s top five shows of 2025, Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel (Glen Street Theatre & The Pavilion Performing Arts Centre), PINOCCHIO (Little Eggs Collective), for which she received the NIDA Emerging Directors Award at Sydney Fringe, The Rime of the Ancient Mariner (Little Eggs Collective / KXT) which was included in Sydney Morning Herald’s best shows of 2019.
As an assistant director, Julia has worked with Opera Australia (Il Trittico), Ensemble Theatre (The Great Divide, The Heartbreak Choir), and Joshua Robson Productions (Bonnie and Clyde, City of Angels). As an actor, she continues to work professionally. Previous work includes How to Plot a Hit in Two Days, dir. Lee Lewis (Ensemble Theatre), Wherever She Wanders, dir. Tessa Leong (Griffin Theatre Company) and The Real Thing, dir. Simon Phillips (Sydney Theatre Company).
Julia is also a classically trained musician and a recipient of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant, which supported a residency with the Royal Shakespeare Company. She has trained with the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
As a theatre director, my practice is grounded in a multidisciplinary approach that weaves together movement and live music to create bold, visceral experiences for audiences. I strive to make work that surprises, engages, and resonates on an emotional level.
I have a deep respect for classic texts and am passionate about reimagining them for contemporary audiences—finding fresh ways to celebrate their relevance and enduring power today.

Vicky Jacobs has built a reputation as the go-to person for bringing out the best in every singer — from Australia’s leading music theatre performers to the most hesitant first-timers. Her ability to inspire confidence and vocal excellence is at the heart of everything she does.
Most recently, Vicky has been the Musical Director of Ordinary Days(Clovelly Fox) at 45 Downstairs and A Christmas Carol (GWB) at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre. She received Green Room Award nominations for her work as Musical Director on Elegies (Clovelly Fox) and The Heartbreak Choir (Melbourne Theatre Company).
As an Associate Musical Director, Vicky has contributed to some of the biggest musical theatre productions in Australia, including Hairspray, Moulin Rouge, Come From Away, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, Jersey Boys, Grease, and Singin’ in the Rain.
Away from the mainstage, Vicky is passionate about community singing. She is the founder and director of Glee Club Singing which offers choirs, singalongs, workshops and joyful events across Victoria and Tasmania.
Her choral arrangements are available through Sheet Music Direct and the Australian Music Vault Choir Project.
Vicky teaches at the Australian Defence Force School of Music, in the Music Theatre department at Victorian College of the Arts and is the Workshop Coordinator for the Rob Guest Endowment. She is proud to be part of the team behind Warm Me Up, the No.1 vocal warm-up app for iPhone and Android.

Nick Fry is a scenic and costume designer based in Sydney, working across musical theatre, theatre, opera, and large-scale live events. He holds both a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts in Design for Performance from NIDA, where he is also a lecturer and design tutor.
Nick’s portfolio reflects a dynamic versatility. His international work includes major contributions to Dubai Expo 2020, where he served as the set designer for Artists in Motion on Diwali Celebration, Why? The Musical, and the New Year’s and Christmas celebrations at Al Wasl Plaza. He also worked on the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia and the UAE’s 48th National Day celebrations.
Nick’s work in Musical Theatre extends to Metropolis (Little Eggs Collective), which won the 2023 Sydney Theatre Award for Best Stage Design of an Independent Production, The Producers (JRP Australia), Once on this Island (Curveball Creative), Pirates of Penzance and Zombie! The Musical (Hayes Theatre Co). Nick’s recent designs include Putting It Together (Impresario Productions) at the Foundry Theatre and The Prom (On Your Feet).
Nick has worked as set design associate for major productions such as Miss Saigon for GWB/Cameron Mackintosh, Madame Butterfly for Opera Australia and Titanique for Michael Cassel Group. He also designed A Very Musical Christmas for Michael Cassel Group and Beyond Blue in 2024 and 2025.
Sidney is a Green Room award winning Lighting Designer, working regularly across Melbourne and Brisbane. He is a 2021 graduate of the BFA (Design and Production) degree at the Victorian College of the Arts, where was awarded the Cassidy Bequest Scholarship for Production.

Sidney has also worked as the Assistant Lighting Designer on ‘Bananaland’ (Simon Philips), and ‘Salamander’ (Maxine Doyle & Es Devlin), and the Lighting Design Realiser for ‘The Dictionary of Lost Words’ (Sydney Theatre Company & State Theatre Company South Australia). In 2025 Sidney also was a participant of the Malthouse Artist Development program, collaborating with Matthew Lutton on ‘The Birds’.
His works have been seen by audiences across Australia, praised by reviews as “one of the best lighting designers Melbourne has to offer”.

Growing up and training in Ballarat, Victoria he has had the privilege of working on the Australian and International tours of The Boy From Oz, Fame, Shout!, We Will Rock You (Australia & Japan), Disney’s The Lion King (Australia & China), Miss Saigon (Australia), Disney’s High School Musical (Australia) and was Assistant to John Bell on OzOpera’s tour of Madame Butterfly.
Matthew was Production Stage Manager on the Australian premiere of Jerry Springer The Opera for the Sydney Opera House and Production Stage Manager on Cameron Macintosh and Disney’s smash hit, Mary Poppins in Australia and New Zealand and the 2013 revival of The Lion King.
In 2002 Matthew established Blackbird Productions with Suzie Franke and held Producer credits on the Australian tours of Robert Harling’s Steel Magnolias, The Debutante Diaries and BPM beatsperminute, the Melbourne seasons of Falsettos, You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, the Australasian premieres of Jonathan Larson’s Tick Tick … Boom!, A New Brain and Dance Through Me.
Matthew was Executive Producer on the Young Australian Broadway Chorus’ acclaimed production of Spring Awakening in Melbourne and Natalie’ Gamsu’s cabaret Misfit in Perth.
Matthew was the Company Manager for the Australian and New Zealand tours of Yes, Prime Minister and Action to the Words’ acclaimed UK production of A Clockwork Orange and later in 2013 returned as Production Stage Manager for Disney’s The Lion King’s revival Australian tour.
During 2014 Matthew produced multiple seasons of Thank You For Being A Friend and YouTube sensations Cole Escola and Jeffery Self live for the first time in Australia in Desperate Houseboys playing during The Sydney Mardi Gras. In March 2020 Matthew produced the Australasian premiere of The Bridges of Madison County at The Hayes Theatre, Sydney.
Matthew is the Producer of Out From Under, an Australian Entertainment Industry response to the mental health of entertainment workers. The event, held at Melbourne’s Her Majesty’s Theatre bought together some of the biggest names from Australian showbiz.
In 2010 Matthew co produced Holding The Man in London, marking his debut as a West End Producer. In 2016, XANADU – the musical was the first production from Matthew Management at The Hayes Theatre and Matthew continued the association with Disney as Production Company Manager on the Australian and Singapore seasons of Aladdin.
At the end of 2022, Matthew completed the Australian tour of Frozen as Production Stage Manager and also his association with The Walt Disney Company Australia after nearly 17 years, having worked on all Disney shows produced in Australia to this day.
Matthew was recently on tour with Cruel Intentions : The 90’s musical as Company & Stage Manager for David Venn Enterprises whilst also working with Federation University Graduating class of 2023. He then went onto join the team as Production Stage Manager on the World Premiere of the Australian created new musical, Midnight – A Cinderella Story.
